“The Easiest Playability Of Any Upright Bass”
This E. Wilfer Testore Double Bass was built in January of 2018 as a very low action, short “vibrating string length” jazz bass, copying a Famous Testore Upright Bass. Listen to the video and please ask questions!
Features:
1) The VSL (vibrating string length) is 102cm. (1/2 steps are smaller, allowing for easier playability. This is especially important for older bass players who are combating hand injuries, including arthritis)
2) Spirocore 3885 (3/4 strings) G & D Weichs, E & A Mediums
3) D Neck
4) Rubner Machine Heads and End Pin
5) Wilfer Bridge with Moser Adjusters
6) Two Pickups choices: Realist Lifeline (Clean Sound), Realist Copperhead (Dark Sound)
7) Very old wood was used to build this bass.
