An accomplished violin maker, John Juzek worked in Prague during the early 20th century. The violin and viola instruments are often a Guarneri with a Stradivari scroll with slightly elongated f-holes. The Juzek instruments are among the highest quality Czech instruments available and possess a bright and powerful tone.
The instrument is in excellent condition for its year and the label clearly reads “John Juzek Violinmaker in Prague Nr. 108 jahr 1926 Master Art Copy of Antonio Stradivarius Made in Czechoslovakia” – see photograph.
