Sean Peak 2020 16″ Viola

This beautiful 16″ Sean Peak viola was made in 2020 and is a copy of a viola made by the Venetian 18th century maker Matteo Gofriller. The powerful and sophisticated sound of this viola is complemented by an Evah Pirazzi string set with a Larsen A.

A graduate of the Chicago School of Violin Making, Sean Peak completed his luthier training in the workshop of William Harris Lee where he had the opportunity to work alongside several other distinguished violin makers including Tetsuo Matsuda. He now specializes in violas, many of which are Tertis models with larger lower bouts. This allows for greater power and projection, especially in the lower registers.
