Miami String Haus

The story of Miami String Haus began in the late 2000s, when Charles Winters shared his passion for music as a private double bass consultant in South Florida, offering lessons at schools and in the homes of aspiring musicians. By 2014, his vision expanded with the opening of a small showroom, affectionately known as the “Haus,” where he provided expert setups, repairs, and rentals for the local music community.

Four years later, Charles and his wife, Katrina, combined their talents and dedication to make quality instruments accessible to musicians at affordable prices. Since then, their workshop has flourished, attracting world-class luthiers who bring artistry and precision to every instrument they touch.

At Miami String Haus, we believe in devoting meticulous care to every instrument to ensure unparalleled playability and sound. Our services encompass everything from new setups and repairs to bow re-hairs, rentals, and major restorations.
